Property

Freehold

A freehold property means you own both the building and the land it sits on outright, with no lease or time limit on your ownership.. Most houses in the UK are freehold. Freeholders have no service charges or ground rent to pay to a landlord

Some shared ownership and newly built properties are leasehold even when they are houses.
