Buy to Let Mortgage
A buy-to-let mortgage is specifically designed for properties you intend to rent out rather than live in.. Lenders assess affordability differently — primarily based on the rental income the property can generate (typically requiring rent to cover 125–145% of the mortgage payment). Interest rates and fees are generally higher than residential mortgages
Most buy-to-let mortgages are interest-only.
