Property Survey

A property survey is an independent inspection of a property's condition, commissioned by the buyer.. The three main types in England and Wales are: a condition report (basic, no advice), a homebuyer report (mid-level, highlights defects) and a building survey (the most comprehensive, suited to older or unusual properties). A survey is separate from and more detailed than a mortgage valuation.
