Mortgage Valuation
A mortgage valuation is carried out by a surveyor on behalf of the lender to confirm the property is worth at least what you are paying for it.. It is not a structural survey and does not assess the condition of the property in detail — it purely protects the lender. For a full picture of the property's condition, buyers should commission a homebuyer report or building survey separately.
