Tracker Mortgage
A tracker mortgage has an interest rate that follows an external rate — almost always the Bank of England base rate — plus a set margin.. For example, base rate + 0.5%. If the base rate rises, your payment rises; if it falls, your payment falls
Trackers usually have no ERC during the tracker period, offering flexibility to overpay or switch.
